Eligibility: Research Scholars, Postdoctoral Fellows, Young Faculty/Doctors, and Scientific Staff associated with Microscopy methods
Desirable: Priority would be given to the Life Members for EMSI. (please visit: http://www.emsi.org.in/membership.php
Registration Procedure: For Workshops: WS01 - WS08: Please register here (only 3 priorities are allowed).
For WS09 (@IISc) and WS10 (@NCBS), please contact the Conveners directly.
The Registration fee for the workshops WS01 - WS08: The registration fee is indicated below. Only selected participants need to pay the registration fee.
Selection: Convener(s) of the workshop would be deciding on the merit of the applications. Please contact the conveners of the workshop in case of any query regarding the workshop.
Accommodation: After selection, you will be intimated with options on your accommodation requirements. The participants need to pay (nominal though).
Accommodation in Bhubaneswar is being planned to be done at NISER hostels / guest houses (NISER is 3 km distance from Khurda railway station and about 35 km distance from Bhubaneswar airport & railway stations). Transport facility is being arranged for pick up only from "Khurda" railway station (in case workshop participants) as the accommodation is arranged in NISER.
WORKSHOP consists of Pedagogic style lectures and Hands-on-training or Demonstrative experiments at various Institutes (Five Institutes in Bhubaneswar and two Institutes in Bengaluru).

If Financial Assistance is applicable for you, upload the recommendation letter from your Ph.D. thesis supervisor and must indicate that there is NO fund available from any other source. Please include your life membership number in the financial assistance form as the priority is given for the Life Members.
Please Note :
- Registration Fee payment: Selected candidates would be intimated and only such participants would be need to pay through online. Any gateway charges would be extra and would be billed to your account. Applicable GST would be paid by the organizers (for the registration fee - as we are still in the process of obtaining GST for EMSI).
Do not PAY now as only selected candidates would be allowed to pay. Please note that refund is not possible (due to logistical problems). - Invited Speakers for the Workshop need NOT pay registration fee. Their registration fee is waived.
- Few Student Fellowship in the form of travel assistance (Sleeper class) and registration fee waiver is available (priority is given for the Life Members).

Please Note :
The participation in the main conference (International Conference on Microscopy and 39th Annual Meeting of EMSI 2018) is limited to 450 participants due to logistics at the convention center and financial constraints.
Other than invited speakers, company delegates and organizing team members, all other regular delegates need to upload their abstracts (they can be co-authors as well). The selection would be based on the acceptance of the abstracts. Usually, more than one author may not be accepted. However, the organizers would try their best to accommodate as many as regular delegates possible. After the authors, if the vacancy is available, the organizers would try to accommodate other applicant who do not have paper to submit. In all the cases, priority is given to the Life Members of the EMSI. The organizers encourage applicants to visit the following website (http://www.emsi.org.in/) and send a soft copy of their EMSI membership form along with the money transfer ( 1600/- towards the life membership fee)
